D70 Receives $3.3 Million BEST Grant

Pueblo County School District 70 announced that it has received a matching BEST Grant for $3.3 million. The grant is funded by the Colorado State Land Board, marijuana excise taxes, Colorado Lottery spillover, and interest earned and will be matched with $4 million from D70.

Multi Year Rye High School Reunion Planned in August

The class of 1969 is inviting everyone that attended School from 1952 thru the year 1976 to a reunion. The invitation includes anyone that attended school during this time, whether you graduated from Rye or not, and includes teachers and staff. Family and friends are also welcome.

Winter weather made it nearly impossible for people to observe the funeral of Ada Clark, so the United Methodist Church has scheduled a “Celebration of Life” in memory of Ada on Saturday, May 18, at 11:30 a.m. in the Methodist Fellowship Hall.Everyone is welcome.
