Post Season Picture Improved After Three League Wins by Thunderbolts
Rye beat Swink 46-41 on Thursday, Jan. 27 during a game where the 4th quarter could have gone to either team. The boys fell to Crowley County on Saturday, Jan. 29 during a home conference game 47-57. They are now 3-3 in League. Camden Steele #11 completed Thursday’s game vs Swink with 13 points, 1 assist, 5 rebounds. Then on Saturday vs Crowley County he had 8 points, 3 assists and 5 rebounds. The T-Bolts started out with a close lead in the first half at 28-20 vs Las Animas on Friday, Jan. 21, then turned on their “A” game and beat the Trojans 60-37 during a home conference game. Wrestlers Compete in League Tournament Thursday Night
Another game and another win for the Lady T-Bolts who are now 9-0 overall and 3-0 league. Rye beat Holly High School 58-14 on Friday, Jan. 7 at an away conference game. During the second quarter Senior Sophie Adamson #20 achieved her 1000th point and was announced on the loudspeaker to cheers by the crowd from both schools.
