What will happen to Las Vegas and California when water and electricity from Lake Mead stops? How will this affect you in Colorado City? Where will millions of people go for water?

I’m not so sure I should take my family to a national park, or even allow them to go without me. We were having lunch at a Colorado State Park when two boys came running up the path. It looked like the bigger boy was chasing the smaller one with a stick.

Just want to complement the Valley View. We recently placed an ad in the paper for our Home For Sale by Owner. Terry made it so easy to email the ad and then we were able pay over the phone.

Senator Bennett, the 8th richest Senator, AKA the 24-hour outdoorsman, has washed his hands of the Colorado City Postal issue.
Apparently, he thinks it is just fine and dandy for us to drive to the North side of Pueblo for our mail.
Senator, midterms are coming.

I was weeding my rock garden and disliking every minute of it so I began to compose a poem in my head. It is meant to be recited to the cadence of Dr Suess's Green Eggs and Ham.

Thank you Terry! I really resonated with this editorial. (Three Races that Show Your Vote Matters- July 7) Complaining about our elected officials is probably the most highly participated national pastime. Yet too often we forget that we can do something about our angst - vote!
