The Greenhorn Valley Book Club met on Thursday, February 22 to discuss a book as unique as its title. The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store by James McBride was up for discussion this month and it did prompt a lively discussion.

Rye TSA Hosts STEAM Valentine’s Night

“What do I do now?” Shayla Simpson asked herself when she, husband Robert, and their two daughters moved to the Colorado City/Rye area from Gutherie, Oklahoma. Robert had taken a job and moved to the company headquarters of the Professional Bull Riders Association in Pueblo.

Young Wrestler Earns First Place

Nine-year-old Brett Repka of Colorado City, competed in the Burton Bash Wrestling Tournament at Widefield High School on Saturday, November 4th. Brett took first place in both the 10U and 12U age brackets, at 64 pounds.
