There will be a meet and greet for Sol Sandoval, candidate for Congressional District 3, on Tuesday, April 19, at 6:00pm in the Colorado City rec center. Sol will discuss her policy positions and will be looking for input from her supporters.

Seventh Annual VFC Easter Egg Hunt for kids, infants to 3rd grade
Volunteers for Community (VFC) will hold their 7th annual free Easter egg hunt for children 3rd grade and under this Saturday, April 16, from 10 to 12 a.m. in Greenhorn Meadows Park near the Pavilion, courtesy of the Colorado City Parks and Rec Department. The event promises to be lots of fun for families and kids, with eggs to hunt, games, prizes, goatcart rides just like every year, and pictures with the Bunny! There are an estimated 1500 stuffed eggs for the kids to find, and some of the eggs have special prizes in them. Free for all kids, infants through 3rd grade, with special hunting areas for kids under 3 and ages 4 to 6. There will also be a VFC bake sale!
