Letter to the Editor
As president of the Volunteers for Community (VFC), I’m writing to publicly thank the wonderful volunteers who have done so much to make VFC’s upcoming yard sale the same success it has always been in past years. Colorado City and Rye folks who have been working steadfastly on VFC projects since 2009 turned out for weeks and months again this year to arrange and price items and figure out creative ways to display them, and last week three new volunteers from Vigil Drive finished the job of putting the upstairs half of the sale in its best showoff condition.
My hat is off to every one of you. You are the heart and soul of what we are all hoping to experience in our community – a good life, with positive growth and good experiences – and I am proud to have the privilege of working with you. Thank you, all!
Susan Kalman
