D70 Summer Meal Pickup for Area Youth at Craver Middle School

PUEBLO COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT 70

District 70 is excited to announce the return of the Summer Breakfast and Lunch Program beginning on June 17th. The District 70 Summer Meal Pickup Program at Craver Middle School will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. On Mondays, two days' worth of breakfast and lunch will be available for pickup. On Wednesdays, three days' worth of breakfast and lunch are available for pickup. Meals are free for those age 18 years and younger. The program will run through July 26, although all locations will be closed on July 4 and 5.

The summer meal program for Craver is pickup only, there are no in-house meals.

Michelle Dennis is once again in charge of the District 70 Summer Meal Program at Craver and is working to ensure that the meals continue to meet the district’s nutritional values and palatability.

The first week's menu will be designed on a daily basis. Menus for later dates are posted at https://district70.nutrislice.com/ menu.

This is a specialized program for rural areas, which allows the grab n' go pickup program for the Greenhorn area. The children must be present to receive the meal bundles and no adult meals will be sold this year at the Craver location.

Meals are available at various locations throughout the district.

In Pueblo West breakfast and lunch are available at Liberty Point International and Prairie Winds Elementary Schools. In the Mesa area, meals are provided at Vineland Middle School and Avondale Elementary School to be eaten in house. Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. at these locations. Adult meals are sold for $3.00 at these locations only.
