“For the first meet of the season I thought we did well,” commented Head Coach Connor Pigg. “We did well as a team although we still have some growing pains.

It was awesome to see a full Rye Track team as we were canceled two years ago and last year only had 18 because of the season stretching well into the summer, this season we are bolstering 35+ track athletes. This was a big meet (29 teams) so all placers had exceptional performances.”

Next action for the track team will be at Dutch Clark stadium in Pueblo in the Pueblo Centennial Invitational on Saturday the 19th. Action is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
