Barbara Jewell Heaton of Colorado City was born April 24, 1939, passing away on September 16, 2025 at the age of 86. She was a devoted member of the Rye Home Methodist Church, the Faith Circle, the United Women in Faith, the Scrappy Ladies Quilt Guild & the local Lions Club. Barbara was an excellent seamstress and quilter. She enjoyed sewing, playing board games, doing jigsaw puzzles, the playful companion of small dogs and spending quality time with her friends.
She is survived by her brother Bill Withey, special daughter Letha Sanders, nieces, nephews and a community of friends in Greenhorn Valley.
Preceding her in death were her husbands; Conrad Heaton and Jerry Marovitz, son John Martin Lohse and brother Robert.
She is truly missed by all those who knew her.
Memorial service is October 6, 2025, 10am at Rye Home Methodist Church and Interment at Colorado City Cemetery.
