If you happen to see these two special ladies out and about, please give them a huge congratulations and thank you, for serving our community. Lions Barbara Heaton and Patsy Eichacker will be retiring from the Lions Club as of June 30,2022.
Lions Barb and Patsy were honored by the Colorado City/Rye Lions Club on Monday evening with a going away party/potluck dinner.
Lion Barbara Heaton has been a member of our Club since June 1, 2004 – 18 years - and longer. Lion Barb was attending meetings and serving her community well before that date and before there were many women in Lions Clubs. In 2003 the women’s initiative began with a push to have women join Lions Clubs. Lion Barb has served many terms as President and Vice President of our Club.
Lion Patsy has been a member of our Club since September 25, 2017 and has assisted with many projects and volunteered wherever there was a need.
