Letter to the Editor:As a former resident of southern Colorado (Walsenburg and Trinidad), I still have reason to visit the area and did so on the Memorial Day weekend at the end of May. I had the unfortunate experience of staying two nights at the Colorado City Days Inn, I have to say.

My mom is going to be 93 on July 27. For a long time, her home has been the long-term care facility in Ransom, Kansas called Rhode Island Estates.Mom is, for her age, doing really well physically.
