Free and Affordable Preventative Health Screenings Available on Saturday, September 30

Residents in Huerfano County and surrounding areas will be able to receive access to free and affordable preventive health screenings and resources at Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center Community Health Fair on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Huerfano County Community Center, 928 Russell St.

The following screenings/booths will be provided by Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center:

• Ask a Pharmacist/Provider

• Education: Osteoporosis, Sepsis, Fall Prevention, Hand Hygiene and Healthy Eating

• Family Clinic

• Financial Counseling

• Flu Shots (High dose 65<) billable to most insurance if age eligible, $70 self-pay with no insurance

• Hospital Transformation Program • Lab Panel $60 includes = Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Complete Blood Count (CBC), Lipid Profile and Hemoglobin A1C

• Patient Family Advisory Council • Patient Portal “My Peak Health”

• Specialty Clinic

• Veterans Community Living Center Medical professionals from Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center will be on site to offer advice and assistance and help participants to decide which screenings may be right for them. Health screenings are vital to maintaining good health, avoiding future problems, or catching them early when they are easier to treat successfully.

We encourage participants who would like to purchase the Lab Panel to pre-register by calling 719.738.5201 or email lclements@ sprhc.org. Laboratory results will be delivered to SPRHC, “My Peak Health,” patient portal along with being mailed to your registered home address by Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
