D70 Board of Education Reviews Budget and Open Forum Policy

Pizza Ranch Hosted Rye Winter Guard Fundraiser

Thursday, January 23, Pizza Ranch hosted the Rye High School Thunderbolt Winter Guard for a fundraiser. A percentage of sales during the hours of 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. went towards the Winter Guard.

The Pueblo County Sheriff ’s deputies arrested a 22-year-old man in a deadly shooting Thursday night in Colorado City.Deputies responded to a home in the 3700 block of Colorado Boulevard just before 7:00 p.m. on a report of a shooting.

Mountain lions are creating havoc in the Beulah area as an abundance of them are interacting in the town. Several residents have reported pets being threatened or injured. Security cameras in nearly every area of Beulah have caught mountain lions casually strolling through the town.

The New Year, 2025, brings several stunning celestial events. The Quadrantid meteor show peaked just after sunset on January 3. This meteor shower, considered one of the best annual meteor showers, has a very short peak of only a few hours, according to NASA.
