Robert E. Stuemky was born in Tulsa Oklahoma to proud parents Dorothy and Edwin R. Stuemky on 04-20-1936; passed on March 24, 2026 and is now living in 'The Presence of the Lord' Senior year of highschool he won the Champion Model Airplane Championship in Dallas Texas in 1953. Then graduated from Okla. State Univ. College of Engineering with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Aeronautical design Eng., and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He was employed by Gates Rubber Co. on 06-06-1966 in the position of Scientist Project Manager of Engineering where he authored and co-authored over 30 U.S. Patents. Many were put into production by Gates. He retired after 33 years.
Among his many interests and activities were; running with his beloved dogs, climbed all 14ers peaks in Colo., Archeology trips, world travel, he loved his church family at St. Michael's, his dear Godson Declan and sang in the choir; time he'd spend with many neighbor friends.
He is survived by his wife Maria Stuemky; daughters Mindy, Melody, Michelle and Jamie; sons Matt, Mark and Mike; granddaughters Francesca and Isabella DeLizza and Collette Inzerillo, his beloved sister Bev Hagerman and extended family.
