Marty (Fuqua) Larsen, age 91 of Rye, Colorado was called home to be with the Lord on June 30, 2026, in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born January 13, 1935 in Denver Colorado, daughter of Ruth Fuqua and Harold Florence. She married Robert (Bob) Edward Larsen February 14,1975 and he preceded her in death on October 28, 2008. Marty has 4 children, son-Joel Guffey, son-Jay Guffey (deceased), daughter Jerie Dene Scollard, daughter Joy Dawn Filighera. She leaves behind special friends and caregivers Rebecca and Vance Whittington and is remembered and will be missed by many friends and extended family. Marty was a devoted Christian who dedicated her life to serving the Lord and teaching others about His Love, Grace, Mercy and the free gift of Salvation He offers everyone. Marty always signed her cards 'Jesus Loves you and so do I'. Anyone that knew Marty knew her love for the Lord. Marty always had a prayer ready and no matter where she went, she grabbed someone's hand to pray for them. Marty loved reading, going to thrift stores and yard sales that she proudly displayed in her home, tea parties, flowers and was always giving someone something if they commented they liked it. She loved to give and did it without a second thought. She supported many Christian organizations, served as a missionary and went many places to witness about the Lord and take items to reservations for those in need. Marty would go without to help someone else in need. She was a member of the River of Life Assembly of God church in Rye, Colorado.

Celebration of Life will be September 5th 2026 at one o’clock at River of Life Church, 8186 CO-165, Rye, Colorado 81069 Ashes to be placed at Rye - Brookside Cemetery at a later date
