National Vietnam Veterans Day was signed into law on March 29, 2017 by President Donald Trump. This date was chosen to honor Vietnam Veterans because on March 29, 1973, the last United States military unit left Vietnam. This March 29th will mark the 50th Anniversary of the end of that war.

Verde Road Wildland Fire Contained with No Structure Damage

So much of farming, during every step, is juggling with Mother Nature. Fire crews were called to the 3600 block of Verde Road to assist with a brush fire after a mild day unexpectedly turned gusty, disrupting farmland preparations.

RHS Knowledge Bowl Team Captures Second in State Competition

With 49 questions gone and a single question left, in the final round of the Knowledge Bowl State Championship, Rye High School and CEC-Inverness were tied 178-178. Sadly, CEC-Inverness was able to buzz in faster than RHS and captured the 2A Championship by a lone point.

During a recent Colorado City Metropolitan District meeting, the Board of Directors and District Manager Jim Eccher heard a detailed proposal for diagnosis and repair of the Duell Well. The proposal was presented by the Colorado Water Well Company.
