Rye Town Readies for Tree Lighting December Second

At the October 11, meeting of the Town of Rye, the board read, reviewed, and discussed the 2024 budget draft. After discussion, $15,000 was added for Water Tank Maintenance and $50,000 was added for Main Sewer Line emergencies.

Rye Mountain Park to Receive New Equipment

Pueblo County Parks and Recreation was happy to announce that it is removing the old playground equipment at Rye Mountain Park and replacing it with safer, more modern equipment.

Musical Community Productions (MCP), made up of 65-70 local Pueblo members, is producing its 32nd annual Christmas production this year. The heart-warming classic, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” takes the audience back to 1941, when live radio was a part of the family.

RHS Receives Governor’s Bright Spot Award

Rye High School was one of 16 Colorado schools receiving Bright Spot Award funds from Governor Polis on November 2. RHS will receive $50,000 and was recognized as being among the best in science achievement. The money comes from the Federal Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER).
