Colorado State Troopers Sending DUI Team to Pueblo

Weekend surge enforcement set to stop impaired drivers (COLO)—The Colorado State Patrol will conduct increased patrols throughout Pueblo County from Friday, December 13, through Sunday morning, December 15, 2024.

Families Enjoyed Both Crafts and Santa on Rye Main Street

Just as promised, Santa did come to Rye on Saturday, December 7.The Santa Comes to Rye event kicked off with the annual craft show opening at 9:00 a.m. in The Rye Professional Building. Fourteen vendors set up their marvelous wares and were on hand to offer helpful Christmas shopping suggestions.

47th Annual Pueblo Bikers United Collected Toys to Bring Joy

The 47th Annual Pueblo Bikers United Toy Run roared its way through Pueblo on Saturday, December 7. The bikers shined up their bikes, put on their leathers, and traveled their route to help bring Christmas to the children in Pueblo.

The Jericho Prayer Walk at the District 70 schools was held at 1: 00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7. At Rye High School, participation was sparse but the prayers and good wishes were strong.The “Jericho Walk for D70 Schools” was reportedly planned by the Christian group Forging Pueblo and Dr. A.J.

A wicked little storm slammed into Southern Colorado on December 9, creating dangerously slick roads and resulting in road closures and event cancellations.Unlike the last storm to bombard our area, this one did not leave large accumulations behind.

Wild Winds Bring Interstate Closure on Sunday

Mild winds took a sudden and drastic turn to wild winds on the afternoon of Sunday, November 24. The crazy winds blew hard all across the area, but were seemingly worse between Colorado City and Walsenburg.
