RFPD 5K Fire Run This Saturday

This Saturday, June 4, Rye Fire Protection District will be hosting the first annual Colorado City Fire Run 5K. The run will take place at the Green Horn Mountain Park in Colorado City with registration beginning at 8:30 and the run beginning shortly after around 9:00.

Colorado City/Rye Lions Award Scholarships

The Colorado City/Rye Lions Club attended the Rye High School Senior Awards ceremony on May 18, 2022 and were proud to award three $1,000 scholarships to the following seniors: Will Fikan: This student has lettered seven consecutive times in academics and is in the STEP program.

The Rye High School graduating class of 2022 traded their pandemic masks for sunglasses to protect them from the bright sun as they marched to and from the Rye High School football field for the 2022 commencement ceremony, which took place on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m.
