With two of the four Knowledge Bowl matches for the season completed, Rye High School leads all 2A schools in the area and is 5th place overall in varsity competition. 4A Pueblo County won the initial meet of the season with a score of 66 and finished second to Lamar in the second meet.

The October 25, Colorado City Metropolitan District (CCMD) Board Meeting brought to light several issues of high importance to Colorado City residents. A motion has been passed by the board to set a moratorium on taps through December 2022, allowing those that are already in process to proceed.

I don’t recall any of our adventures, up to this point, including saloon girls. But our trip to Silverton, Colorado did. Silverton sits at an altitude of 9,003 feet and a population of 10,484 (2020), but the “working” girls of Silverton come from all over.
