Old San Isabel Road Fire Near Rye Quickly Controlled Monday

As of 5:56 a.m. Tuesday morning the Old San Isabel Road Fire, that flared near Rye Monday, was standing at 85% contained, according to KVOR 740 AM radio. Fire crews and the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) reported that the fire burned 127 acres and one outbuilding.

Local Young Ladies Perform in “Nutcracker the Ballet”

Several young ladies in the Greenhorn Valley made a serious commitment, back in August, that is about to come to light in a most beautiful way. Practice for the Sangre de Cristo Ballet's 'Nutcracker the Ballet' performances on December 1st- 4th began in August.

Town of Rye has New Trustee and Plant Operator Assistant

Rec Center Updated and Active

During the November 8, Colorado City Metropolitan District board meeting, it was revealed that the Parks and Recreation Department, under the leadership of Josh Briggs, is moving forward with plans to upgrade the Rec Center.
