Old San Isabel Fire 100%

The Old San Isabel Fire has been declared 100% contained, however, the public may still see smoke coming from the center of the burn area for several days. The fire, which started at around 11 a.m. Monday, spread an additional 10 acres overnight Monday to a total of approximately 137 acres.

We have taken a Great Adventure trip to Ouray, Colorado, twice. The first time we made the 286-mile, six-hour trek from Colorado City was during the winter, a number of years ago. Ouray is located at an elevation of 7,792 feet (2,375 m), and experiences four distinct seasons.

Rye High School Senior Wins State Body Building Championship

Let’s try and put this in perspective. Caleb Hurne, Colorado City, got excited about body building. He decided to enter the National Physique Committee (NPC) Rocky Mountain Championships held in Denver, Colorado. He made that decision three months before the event.
