Airport to Offer Early Flights to Denver Beginning in November

Pueblo Memorial Airport has added a new early morning Denver service and increased weekly flights through Denver Air Connection (DAC).The early bird flight is scheduled to begin on November 1, leaving at 6:00 a.m. from Pueblo to Denver International Airport (DEN), with a return flight at 9:00 p.m.

The Rye Fire Protection District has met the criteria for placing ballot issue 7B on the November ballot. 7B will ask voters whether to authorize an additional 11.652 mills of property tax for the next 10 years.

Colorado City was pounded by damaging hail late Wednesday, September 9, however, it was just a narrow strip of Colorado City. The huge storm hit at about 11:00 p.m. and lasted a good 30 minutes. The incredible accompanying lightning was visible for long distances.

The Mountain States Ranch Rodeo took over the Big R Arena on Wednesday, September 2. The much-anticipated yearly Ranch Rodeo at the Colorado State Fair was limited to entries of 15 teams for the fiveman hybrid scramble, and the open ranch bronc riding was limited to ten riders.
