Colorado Unemployment Claims Drop

Initial filings for unemployment benefits in Colorado dropped last week compared with the week prior, the U.S. Department of Labor said Thursday. New jobless claims, a proxy for layoffs, fell to 2,373 in the week ending January 20, down from 2,715 the week before, the Labor Department said. U.S.

Subsurface Soil Samples Obtained for Dam Improvement and Rehabilitation

You may have noticed activity around Lake Beckwith last week. Engineers employed by RJH Consultants were using a mobile drill rig to sample the subsurface soil around the existing dam to measure strength and soil properties to be used for the improvements and expansion of the existing dam.
