CCMD Says Next Step is a Meeting with Stewart Ranch

District Manager James Eccher advised the Colorado City Metro District board, at their April 30 meeting, that contact had been made with Stewart Ranch through Garry MacCormack. Although MacCormack came into the Metro office none of the information mailed to the ranch has been signed for.

VFW Retires Worn Flags

They served their nation well and were retired with dignity and honor.VFW Post 7305 held an official retirement ceremony for worn or damaged United States flags on Saturday, May 4. The ceremony was held in the Lake Beckwith parking lot, near the LTC. Fred A. Ettleman Post 7305.

Juniors Shine at Achievement Award Ceremony

The Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star Chapter, and Order of Amaranth of Pueblo County once again recognized fourteen Outstanding Junior Achievement Award recipients. From each of the seven public high schools in the Pueblo County area, a boy and girl are selected to receive this honor each year.

For the third consecutive year, Valley Community Church will host the Liberty Quartet on Friday, May 17, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Valley Community Church is located at 4253 Mercantile St., in Colorado City. Admission to the concert is free and a love offering will be received.
