Liberty Quartet Presents Free Concert at Valley Community Church

On May 15, the Liberty Quartet, in their 30th year of gospel music presentations, will again return to the Valley Community Church in Colorado City to present a concert beginning at 6:00 p.m. The concert, as always, is free and a love offering will be taken.

RFPD Alert to Fire Danger

Reports at the April 20, Rye Fire Protection District (RFPD) meeting show the district to be busy and productive, with all personnel staying alert to fire danger.Fire Chief Ross Gallegos emphasized the No Burning Ban is in effect, and likely will be for the foreseeable future.

Rye High School's Thunderbolt Winterguard started their 2026 season at Ralston Valley HS on January 31, 2026.This season the Winterguard went from winning Novice division as State Champions last year to competing against 24 other Winterguards throughout Colorado.
