Letter to the Editor,It was how my family “did Christmas” in the 1960’s: six kids, dogs, parents, suitcases and gifts into the Pontiac station wagon for the 418-mile trip from Pueblo, Colorado to my paternal grandparent’s home in rural Rushville, Nebraska.

Viewpoint This is a travesty of epic proportion. It cannot be understated but, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to 'get out the vote'. More importantly, the lack of education of the voting populace is baffling. So many outcomes are ill-informed and shocking (Mamdani et al).
