Letter to the Editor Terry, you are obviously a saint based upon your column's recent thoughtful response to the letter to the editor. You showed more restraint than I could have ever mustered. Of course, the original paid ad was exaggerated and over the top.

I recently saw the very offensive and divisive paid political add calling ourpresent government officials corrupt, anti-American and even criminal. I was livid! I believe in free speech but that’s truly the pot calling the kettle black!

Such was the popular rock song of the 50s and 60s – a time when those lyrics were accepted as a foregone conclusion. We've entered an era where we can't say that anymore.

I was working at the Colorado Mental Health institute in Pueblo about 20 years ago when some excavators, preparing to put in a foundation for a new building, discovered human skeletons. After some scientific tests it was determined that they were from the time of the Flu Pandemic around 1920.

The Supreme Court, by a 6-3 vote last Thursday, blocked the federal COVID mandate which required employees at companies with 100 or more employees to be vaccinated or tested weekly. An estimated 84 million people were affected by that ruling.

The Taxman Cometh. Well it's a new year and tax filing time will be coming shortly. Evidently, Uncle Sam is getting his ducks in order to acquire as much money as possible. For 2021, they've let it be known that any taxpayer, regardless of the content of his or her character, is okay with them.
