Letter to the Editor Another big piece of this: who your kids choose as friends. (Viewpoint-December 2) Kids migrate to the lowest common denominator. When my oldest started hanging out with 'less structured' kids, things went bad. It took him a year to realize he needed a new friend group.

Volunteers for Community (VFC) would like to thank all the people that graciously donated items for our sale, all the people that came to the sale and purchased items and all the volunteers that made the sale possible. Our next sale will be in about 6 - 8 months.

Dear Editor, I read with great interest this week’s Viewpoint. I think it’s just another way the government is trying to bamboozle and confuse us. I believe they have known for some time that water is more expensive than beer. We should have switched over years, probably decades, ago.
