Four Grandkids, Three Falls, Two Trails and an Uncle

Generally, I prefer to have my great adventures with Lori. Over the last 34 years we have developed a certain ease that is very enjoyable. I would rather be around her than anyone but, in the words of the Godfather, occasionally someone will make us an offer we can’t refuse.

Oak Ridge Fire Causes Local Evacuations

At 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, the Oak Ridge Fire near Colorado City had grown to 275 acres. The perimeter is not considered contained. Middle Creek Canyon residents were under mandatory evacuation order.

Kids Breathe Life into Greenhorn Valley Baptist Church

“When I became pastor of the church in October of 2023, I wanted to figure out how we could serve the community,” shares Greenhorn Valley Baptist Church Pastor Paul Okins. I looked around the community and I felt there was a need for daycare.

Valley First Hosts Community Engagement Focus Group

Lori and I were trying to remember when we last went anywhere for more than a day. I think it was last September. So, we decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary by spending time in Taos, New Mexico.Taos is rich in history. It was founded in 1795.
