Sarah’s Home Continues to Change Lives

Colorado has a serious sex trafficking issue. Recently the FBI and state agencies conducted a twoday operation which resulted in the recovery of 27 sex trafficking victims in Colorado. That included eight juveniles and 19 adults.

Rye High School’s (RHS) new Principal, Matt DeJong, held a Community Connection meeting on Monday, July 15, in the RHS gymnasium hoping to get a jump on some of the questions and issues of the 2024-25 school year, DeJong introduced himself to parents and community members of the Greenhorn Valley.

Illegal Marijuana Grow Operation Found in Eastern Pueblo County

A tip about a possible illegal marijuana grow and drug distribution operation on property in eastern Pueblo County led Pueblo County Sheriff ’s Special Investigations and Narcotics detectives to finding and seizing nearly 90 plants and numerous pounds of finished marijuana product.

A group of strong, political leaders referring to themselves as “trailblazers” visited Colorado City on Sunday, July 21, to introduce themselves. Approximately 45 people attended the informative event which was held at the Colorado City Rec Center at 5000 Cuerno Verde Blvd. in Colorado City.
