Catherine Gallegos is in her 8th year as the Head Girls Track Coach at Rye High School. Her primary focus is distance and sprints and unlike many of the RHS coaches who have coached several sports, Gallegos is a specialist in track.

Rye Approves CPA Firm for 2024 Audit Exemption

The February 12 meeting of the Town of Rye was attended by all board members, Greg Colter of Colorado Rural Water and Jocelyn Ensley, Town Clerk.The board reviewed quotes collected by Jocelyn Ensley for a local Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to perform the annual 2024 audit exemption.

Read Across America Day 2025 was celebrated on Monday, March 3, at Rye Elementary. It is held annually on a school day closest to March 2nd, which is the birthday of American author Dr. Seuss. Sheriff Lucero Announces Scholarship for High School Seniors

Pueblo County Sheriff David J.Lucero announced that the County Sheriffs of Colorado Inc.(CSOC) will award a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving local high school senior in Pueblo County.CSOC, the state Sheriffs Association, established the scholarship program in 1978.
