Bennett's Legacy Lives On

Steve Bennett took his last call and signed off as Fire Chief for the Rye Fire Protection District (RFPD) on March 31. As Ross Gallegos, the interim RFPD Fire Chief, said in a tribute on Saturday, April 12, Bennett’s legacy will continue to live on.

Quilt Show and Demonstrations Well Attended and Appreciated

The 15th Annual Southern Colorado Regional Quilt Show concluded on Sunday, April 13, after attracting a record-breaking attendance. Organizing committee members reported that 1,324 visitors attended the quilt show at the El Pueblo Museum over the ten-day event.
