Dave Wade’s historic Mountain Trails Chuckwagon is finding a new and very fitting home. The Goodnight Barn Historic Preservation Committee unveiled the new acquisition on Saturday, May 31, at the Historic Goodnight Barn, located at 5475 W. State Hwy 96 in Pueblo, Colorado.

LTC FRED A. ETTLEMAN VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS POST 7305Memorial Day, a federal holiday dedicated to honoring U.S. military men and women who lost their lives in service, was celebrated on Monday, May 26.

Slash Collection at 12 Mile Gravel Pit

The United States Forest Service is sponsoring a mitigation slash collection event for property owners in or near the towns of San Isabel, Beulah, and Rye, Colorado, on Saturday, May 31. This event, part of the San Carlos Ranger District Slash Collection, will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Spring Concerts Showcase Band and Choir Talent

The Rye Band performed excellently at the Rye Spring Music Concert. The band played Batman from the 1968 TV Show, Halo 3 Theme from the video game Halo 3, Elegy by Japanese composer Yo Goto, Flight of the Thunderbird by Richard Saucedo and Lake of Sorrows by Randall Standridge.
