Metro Board Shifts Payroll to ADP and Saves Money

At the Colorado City Metro District Board meeting on November 12, District Manager James Eccher announced that they have entered into an agreement with ADP to take care of their payroll.In addition to payroll, there are multiple HR benefits and ADP matches the Caselle system the district uses.

D70 Celebrates Being an Accredited District

In what was the last official meeting for board members John Christenson, Chris DeLuca, and Cathy Howland, incredibly good news for the district was celebrated. Nineteen Pueblo County District 70 Schools earned District Performance Awards as D70 celebrated the honor of being an Accredited District.

Rye High School Thunderbolt Marching Band 2025 Season Summary

The Rye High School Thunderbolt Marching Band began its season in July, preparing its field production Man in the Mirror: The Story of Narcissus. This year’s show featured music from Hercules (“Gospel Truth”), Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror,” and Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance.

Sarah’s Home Welcomes New Executive Director

Since we first heard of Sarah’s Home in an undisclosed location in Colorado, we have followed their progress in the fight against child trafficking. Initially, we heard about it through a church in Rye who had invited a representative to speak to the congregation. We have been supporters ever since.
