It wasn’t thunder, a crash, or an explosion—it was just unusual. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) recorded an earthquake near Colorado City on Thursday, January 8. However, most residents likely did not feel it. The USGS reported the earthquake to have a magnitude of 2.
