More than $465,000 Waiting to be Claimed

More than $465,000 in unclaimed capital credit is waiting to be claimed by current and former San Isabel Electric members.A list of people and businesses that are owed unclaimed capital credits is available online at siea.com/capital credits.

Local Fires Quickly Contained

Thanks to the quick action of local fire agencies, several local fires have been quickly contained, minimizing damage and spread.Rye Fire Protection District (RFPD) has responded to two structure fires and a wildland fire in just a few weeks.

Annual Quilt Show Features 250 Years of America

The 16th Annual Southern Colorado Regional Quilt Show, presented by the Pride City Quilt Guild, will open at the El Pueblo History Museum, located at 301 N. Union Ave in Pueblo, on April 2. The show will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Community Garden Welcomes New Coordinator

The Volunteers for Community (VFC) are excited to announce that Margie Knight has taken on the role of coordinator for the 2026 Community Garden. Knight, who was one of the founders of the original Community Garden, expressed her enthusiasm for returning to this role.
