The Jericho Prayer Walk at the District 70 schools was held at 1: 00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7. At Rye High School, participation was sparse but the prayers and good wishes were strong.The “Jericho Walk for D70 Schools” was reportedly planned by the Christian group Forging Pueblo and Dr. A.J.

A wicked little storm slammed into Southern Colorado on December 9, creating dangerously slick roads and resulting in road closures and event cancellations.Unlike the last storm to bombard our area, this one did not leave large accumulations behind.

Mild winds took a sudden and drastic turn to wild winds on the afternoon of Sunday, November 24. The crazy winds blew hard all across the area, but were seemingly worse between Colorado City and Walsenburg.
