Local Musician Wins at Walnut Valley

Rye, Colorado’s 19-yearold Eavia Ryan entered the Old-time Fiddle Contest at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, KS for the first time Friday, September 16. The local teen fiddler walked away with the championship after competing with top fiddlers of various ages from around the nation.
