Upcoming Election Could Cost CCMD $38,000

During the February 14 board meeting, District Manager Jim Eccher reminded the Colorado City Metropolitan District (CCMD) board that the Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder has said they will not run the election for special districts this year.

During the January 11, Town of Rye meeting, Town Clerk Jocelyn Mower stated that Colorado Rural Water Association (CRWA) is in the process of helping the town create and implement an asset management program for free.

Annual Greenhorn Valley Chamber of Commerce Meeting and Dinner Hosted by Rye Cafe

A delicious pizza buffet, complete with salad, beverages, and dessert, was presented by Rye Café owner, Mike Peck, and staff as they hosted the annual Greenhorn Valley Chamber of Commerce dinner on February 9.

“When I worked for Wyatt Cafeterias, I traveled a lot, and I fell in love with Colorado,” shared Nancy Schuerr, the chairwoman of the Colorado City Architectural Advisory Committee, an advisory committee for the Colorado City Metro District Board of Directors that deals with covenants.
