Pueblo County Sheriff ’s deputies and K9 Zeus had a busy Monday afternoon rounding up four suspects in two separate and unrelated crimes in the south sector of Pueblo County.Deputies were sent to a burglary in progress call in the 8000 block of Hwy 165 in Rye.

Awana Program Begins Seventeenth Year at Valley Community Church

The School to Employment Program (STEP) is welcoming 31 new students to UCHealth Parkview this new school year. Four of those students are from Rye High School. The four RHS students are Kenzie Nielson, Adyson Mittlestadt, Desiree Ruiz and Kameron Arnold.

Blackhurst Looks Forward to Post Season Success in Cross Country

Tom (T.J.) Blackhurst is starting his 13th year as the Head Coach of the cross-country program for Rye High School. All told, he has 14 years of cross-country coaching experience along with 10 years as a basketball coach and eight years of coaching track and field.
