Rolling Thunder Rolling Down the Lanes

Unified Bowling is a CHSSA sanctioned sport and Rye High School is part of the rolling action. On Thursday September 22nd Rye High School’s Unified Bowling Team took to the alleys for their first competition against the defending State Region 2 team, Central Wildcats.

Cross Country Team Prepares for 2A Regionals

The Rye High School Cross Country team competed in both the Pueblo City/County Cross Country Championships and the Eric Wolff Invitational hosted by Sargent High School and held in Monte Vista, this in preparation for the Regional Tournament on Friday.

Thunderbolts Down CSCS for the First Time in Nine Years

For the first time in nine years, the Rye High School Thunderbolt football team downed Colorado Springs Christian School in the 2022 Homecoming mist and rain, 31-29. The win moves the Thunderbolt season mark to 5-1 and leaves them unbeaten in the Santa Fe League with a 2-0 record.

Rye Football Team Prepares for Homecoming Battle Against CSCS

The Rye Thunderbolts won their league opener against Ellicott 59-6, in their third straight run-away victory. The win brought their overall record to 4-1. Dylan Hurne scored five touchdowns on the ground and carried the ball for 226 yards on 19 carries.

Cross Country Team Does Well in Home Meet

The Rye High School boys’ cross-country team placed 4th in their own invitational last Friday. Rocky Ford won the team championship and Josh Snyder, Rocky Ford, won the individual title with a time of 17:08.12. David Maroney ran a season best race with a time of 18:40.
