Rye High School Spring Sports Season is Underway

The Rye High School (RHS) girls golf team will begin their season today (Thursday), with the Rocky Ford Invitational beginning at 9:00 a.m. On Tuesday, April 5, they will travel to Trinidad for the Trinidad Invitational. That tournament is slated to begin at 10:00 a.m.

The girls soccer team had their first match of the season Tuesday eveining, March 29, at Pueblo East. This afternoon (Thursday), at 4:30 p.m., they travel to Thomas MacLaren. On April 2, they travel to Alamosa; and on April 5, Rye High School Girls Soccer will be traveling to Vanguard.

The RHS Track Team will spend April 2 at Dutch Clark stadium in Pueblo for an invitational meet hosted by Pueblo County. The meet will begin at 9:00 a.m.

The Rye baseball team will be at the Salida Tournament April 1-2. Rye will start off with Pagosa Springs on Friday afternoon. Rye then plays Buena Vista and Calhan on Saturday. Pagosa Springs is a solid 3A team, Buena Vista is a top 10 2A team and Calhan has some athletes that could give the team trouble as well.
