went to walk, run, and dance with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 21, 2021. She was born in Topeka, KS to the proud parents Faye and RQ Foster, both of whom preceded her in death; along with her brother, Fred Foster; mother-in-law Marian Holgerson, brother in-laws Larry and Bob Holgerson; sister in-laws Connie, Linda, and Mary Ann Holgerson.
Susan enjoyed sharing stories of her childhood, walking barefoot in the grass, and watching Andy Griffith or Gunsmoke. She was a very proud grandmama and loved her Jordan dearly. She was never known to complain regardless of her circumstances. More than anything, she loved her family.
Susan is survived by her husband Richard Holgerson; children Annie Rahl (Brian) and Lori Hale (Chris); grandchildren Jordan Holgerson-Rahl, Kaylee Byerly, Kreed Rahl; siblings Denise Lovitt; nieces Cassie Foster Fitzpatrick and Sarah Lovitt; nephews Tony Foster and Aaron Lovitt; and the rest of the large and loving family that supported Susan throughout her blessed life. Susan will be forever loved and missed by all who love her.
Richard and the girls are especially grateful for the care and support from the community and the professionals over the years. A special thank you to Dr. Stan Sicher for his kind and most loving care of our dear Susan. Susan will be laid to rest on October 30, 2021. Service will be at 10:30 in the Rye Methodist Church.
