Janice Luellen, 70, went to be with the Lord December 20th, 2021 after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. She grew up in Rye and loved this Valley, having so many fond memories and graduated from Rye high school. While fighting cancer she rebuilt her childhood home creating her dream home. She traveled the world and even studied the educational system of China on her way to a PHD from Denver University in Early Childhood Development. She enjoyed taking trips with her mother, niece and nephew to the beach and exploring historical sites in the states. Being a gifted seamstress she made them beautiful matching Easter outfits for years. She married Paul Popoff in December 2011 and was very happy in her last career as a housewife. She was a member of the Greenhorn Valley Baptist church in Rye. Janice deeply loved God, Family and our Country.
She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father,
Dorothy and Lee Luellen. She is survived by her husband Paul Popoff, brother John Luellen ( Terri), Nephew Garrett (Shayla), Niece Jenae, and great nephews Henry and Jack.
There will be a private burial in Killeen Texas.
