Sophomore Emma Garcia and Freshman Olivia Donlon placed first and third in the Santa Fe League Girls’ Golf Tournament and Rye High School finished in the number one spot, 19 strokes ahead of second place Swallows Charter Academy.
Overall, Rye grabbed four of the top 12 places in the tournament held at Hollydot Golf Course. After Garcia and Donlon, sophomore Kenzie Nielson placed 10th with a tournament score of 105. Another sophomore, Kelsy Stribling finished 12th with a score of 105.
After Rye and Swallows, Rocky Ford placed third with a team score of 303.
