Press Release
Rye Fire Protection District
Beginning Wednesday, September 7, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., and continuing every Wednesday after that, Rye Fire Protection District will be opening Station 2, located at 4495 Bent Brothers Blvd, Colorado City, Colorado to all of our constituents for vital sign readings i.e.; Blood pressure, Heart rate and Oxygen. All free of charge.
Each participant will be given a card that they can keep in their wallet or purse with their readings on it.
Each card contains enough spaces for 20 readings. Once full, a new card will be issued. These cards are a great way to keep a record of your vital signs for doctors’ visits, EMS calls or for just personal peace of mind.
It is also a great way of getting to know your first responders; just come to the front door and ring the bell.
We look forward to seeing you. Any questions, please call 719-676-3522 to talk to any of your professional firefighters/ EMTs/ or
Paramedics.
