Letters to the Editor

Letter to the Editor

Terry, you are obviously a saint based upon your column's recent thoughtful response to the letter to the editor. You showed more restraint than I could have ever mustered. Of course, the original paid ad was exaggerated and over the top. Unfortunately, most political expressions are these days. The original ad was indeed "a pot calling the kettle black", so now the letter writer "cures" this problem by being another pot calling another kettle black?............wow. The letter itself made several false statements and exaggerated accusations, and then proceeded to also label the other side "cor rupt, anti-American, and criminal" and then add in "racist" for good measure. That sure elevated and improved our political dialogue.
