Tim Johnson, 72, of Pueblo, left us peacefully on January 28, 2022, after enjoying an evening of hockey with his boys, one of his favorite pass times next to fishing. Tim is survived by his wife of 42 years, Elena, his sons Todd and Jeffrey Johnson, sister Debbie (Dave) Lockett, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clarence (Marie) Scarberry and numerous nephews, their spouses and children.
Tim was employed by Pueblo School District 60 until he retired in 1996 at which time he and his family moved to Colorado City where they owned and operated the Pueblo South/Colorado City KOA Kampground until 2016. During this time, they were the proud recipients of numerous awards from the KOA organization, and in 2009, they were named Greenhorn Valley Chamber of Commerce Business of the year.
Services for Tim will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church, corner of Bonforte and 1708 Horseshoe Drive in Pueblo. A reception will follow in the church hall.
