A Variety of Businesses Represented at the Chamber of Commerce EXPO

GREENHORN VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

There was something of interest for everyone at the Greenhorn Valley Chamber of Commerce Business EXPO held on Saturday, April 8. Approximately fifteen businesses set up booths to share information about their business, sell their wares, and offer advertising materials. Several other businesses donated door prizes and decorations.

While visitors browsed the booths to see what the local businesses offered, the children were allowed to have a great time as well. With games and an obstacle course set up, they were entertained and the last ones to want to leave.

Chamber board members stayed busy dipping ice cream and serving up free root beer floats, a very popular addition to the EXPO this year.

The variety of participating businesses at the EXPO was amazing. Shoppers were able to do everything from sample sweet treats, take home a new outfit, apply for work, discuss landscaping needs, and check on veterans or Medicare assistance plus more. The EXPO was a good sampling of what the Greenhorn Valley has to offer.

The Business Expo was open from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Craver Middle School and was organized by the Greenhorn Valley Chamber of Commerce. A vendor-only breakfast was held just before 10:00 a.m.

One vendor commented that the flow of traffic at the EXPO was just right, with someone there all the time but giving them time to speak with everyone who wanted more information.
